Tales from the unexpected
A hidden gem with friendly staff, fine ocean views, and a huge clean pool! Close to conveniences like pharmacies, restaurants, and weekend markets. Enjoyed the exquisite breakfast and ample lounging spots at the pool. Bike rentals nearby added an adventurous touch to our stay.

When I checked out I was told I was leaving a day early so my booking must have been incorrect The receptionist still charged me for the extra night even though I did not stay The restaurant ran out of melon and Papaya salad during the afternoon -how could this happen? The room was not ready when I checked in and I had to wait until 3.30pm to check in Your advert says villa with sea view -I think this is a huge exaggeration .the sea is a long was from the hotel and the room is not a villa

The air conditioning seemed set to a perpetual 22 Celsius, leaving me a bit chilly, and the lack of adequate lighting in the bathroom made it tough to freshen up. I found the breakfast coffee lacking, and the separation of the beach shuttle service felt a bit cumbersome, especially without a local phone to call for a pickup. I struggled to find adequate storage in my room, which could be challenging for anyone planning a longer stay.

Clean rooms. Nice beach, although you have to get a buggy to get there.
Breakfast Buffet - cutlery being taken out of my used plates and put back on the table for me to be re used - extremely unhygenic. Im very surprised management have not looked into this, I wouldnt expect this sort of thing in any rated hotel. Quality of food at all restaurants - average to poor and too expensive for what it is. Also not enough variety of food at hotel, need atleast one more restuarant. During my 7 night stay there, not many people ate at the hotel during dinner or lunch time. For a 4-5 star resort this is very strange, but im guessing this is due to poor quality of food and the pricing of the food. No activities during the day or evening ie. Yoga, etc or any sort of night time entertainment - ie. Dance, cultural. Very boring for families and couples at this hotel. No real sporting activities apart from swimming and gym. Expect table tennis, tv and entertainment (pool table room).

Everything was excellant, including very pleasant and consistently courteous stuff at check-out. The deluxe room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was airy and tidy with the half balcony. We had 3 relaxing days here, would recommend the place.

The pool was clean and I had non-alcoholic drinks in the poolside bar. I was there for 2 nights and ate at seaside restaurant for the atmosphere...

it was a modern and beautifully decorated hotel in a nice quiet area, near to the " clock tower " close to another nightly market offering a wide variety of sea food, and local night market. the view was magnificent and the staff were genuinely helpful. the bed was comfy and the room was air-conditioned & good sized.

Very quiet. Food reasonably priced. Pool area good. Nice clean and new rooms.
There is no beach 90 percent of the time so do not be fooled into beleiving this is a beach resort. Staff do not speak good english at all and was a big job just to get across to them what you were ordering or talking about.

Staying at the Amari offered a good blend of comfort and relaxation. The spacious room featured a lovely balcony ideal for morning coffee, complemented by a magnificent pool that invited leisurely afternoons. Some challenges with towel management at the pool emerged, though this did not overshadow an overall pleasant experience.
